Josh Ramsay

==Early life==
Josh Ramsay went to high school at Magee Secondary School. He grew up in a family filled with music. His mother was a vocal teacher to students and his father owned a recording studio. Ramsay inherited that love of music by initially starting his own solo career at the young age of 14. He decided later that he needed a supporting band. Ramsay got together with his high school friend, Matt Webb, and found two local musicians Morgan Hempsted and Steve Marshall. The four members formed a band entitled Ramsay Fiction.
Ramsay and Webb had to search for new band members after Ramsay Fiction didn't work out. Ramsay found the drummer Ian Casselman in a wanted ad in the Georgia Straight. Ian was a help in finding the bassist Mike Ayley later in which they were in a band together previously. The four members formed the band Fix Me to represent the struggles that Josh had experienced throughout high school which was later changed to Marianas Trench and Fix Me was used as the title for the first album.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.evertune.com/artists/josh-ramsey-marianas-trench/ )〕
Nearing the end of his high school years, Ramsay developed an addiction to heroin, as well as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and depression.
